Having been a musician since the 4th grade, I suppose I've always had a talent for music.  Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Bassoon, Alto Sax, Drum Set, Keyboard, Bass, Banjo and Voice have all made their way into my life at one time or another.  Through college, I was in numerous performing ensembles, both classical and modern. After realizing that I simply didn't want to be a performing musician, I began turning to audio technology and recording.  Now, it is my passion.

It is just as important to have some one as capable as the musicians in the control room, recording the music that is being played.  It is also important to be on the same page about the work.   I have and will always strive to make the very best recordings that will not only stand the test of time, but be a project of which the artist can be proud.  Working with independent musicians has directly led to the most successful moments in my career.  Working together and finding a common language in the studio, venue or production environment raises the performance quality of everyone.  Building those relationships with other people is what music is all about.
